Move on, or end the call
You don’t owe anyone a conversation. Move on to someone else, or end the call and go back to browsing. Nothing happens to your account for walking away.
Safety
Voxxy pairs you with one stranger at a time on a voice call. That’s the whole idea — and it’s also why the controls below exist. You decide how long a conversation lasts, and you have a way out of any conversation that turns sour.
You don’t owe anyone a conversation. Move on to someone else, or end the call and go back to browsing. Nothing happens to your account for walking away.
If someone threatens you, sends sexual content to a minor, or behaves abusively, use the report option. Reports go to moderation, and they’re read by people rather than counted and dropped.
Blocking keeps that person out of your way. You can block from the call or from their profile, and the block holds after you leave the page.
Voice and video calls are moderated around the clock. Reports are reviewed, and accounts that break the rules can lose access. Every call needs a live connection between two people, so a call that ends stays ended: starting again means a new match with someone new.
Audio mode asks your browser for the microphone and nothing else. Voxxy doesn’t need your camera to connect a voice call, and you can use the site without creating an account first.
Leave it. One tap finishes a call, and nobody is owed a reason. Report the person afterwards so the next person who matches with them gets a different outcome, and block them so they don’t come back around. If you’re in immediate danger where you are, contact your local emergency number rather than the site.
Voxxy is an adults-only service, 18 and over. We don’t design it for school or campus use, and there is no version of it for people under 18.
