Version history

Voxxy keeps track of previous versions of your document, allowing you to preview and restore previous versions at any time. This enables you to confidently experiment with transforms, knowing that you can always go back to a previous version if you need to.

What is a version?

Voxxy automatically creates a new version of your document when you:

• Use "Transform" - Each transformation creates a new version
• Use "Regenerate" or "Start again" - Regenerating with a different template or starting again with an existing template will create a new version

How to use

1. Click the version history button in the top right corner of the editor
2. A dialog will open that shows all versions of your document
3. Each version displays:
   • Version number
   • Template used
   • Transform instruction (Only shown if the version was created by a transform)
4. For versions that are not the current version, you will see a "Preview" and "Restore" button

Previewing a version

To preview the content of a specific version:

1. In the version history dialog, click the "Preview" button for the version you want to preview
2. The dialog will close and the editor will enter preview mode
3. The editor will show you the document content

Preview mode

When you are in preview mode:

• You cannot make changes to the document
• A banner at the top will show that you're in preview mode
• You can optionally restore the previewed version
• You can cancel preview mode to exit and view the current version

Restore a version

To restore a specific version:

1. In the version history dialog, click the "Restore" button for the version you want to restore
2. The dialog will close and the version will be restored

Alternatively, you can preview the version first and use the restore button in the preview mode banner.
